I have only been working with Freddy for a short time….but have enjoyed his style of training. The sessions are comfortable yet challenging. I enjoy the one-on-one personal attention and the focus on form and education. I appreciate that he is in shape and also performs the exercises along with me. Other trainers and gyms…do not always work along side or have trainers that are in shape. I see this as the beginning of a long and healthy exercise program.

I came to Ulises after I had put on an excess of 40 lb. I was unhappy and near my heaviest weight in a long time. Less than one year later, I have lost 68 lbs to date. I am down from a relaxed fit 37 inch waist/xl shirts to a straight leg 32 (verging on a 31, and yes I can even wear skinny jeans!!) and I am wearing medium to small size shirts again. My energy has increased and I am happy and proud of the new me. I actually look forward to my time at the gym.

The results I have achieved are largely due to Ulises’ combination of diverse training methods, individualized exercise programs & challenging yet achievable goal setting. He listens to what I want to achieve and helps motivate me to make a change. Taking a class with Freddy is a highlight of my week. He makes class fun, while managing to push each person based on their abilities. Whether it is a dance or fitness class, he watches to be sure exercisers are moving and using the appropriate form. In dance and step classes he starts with the basics and builds on more and more so that before you know it, you are doing a higher level more complicated routine than you ever thought you could do. He is a great teacher! I have become stronger, faster, and more healthy because of his fast-paced and engaging classes. As Freddy would say, “How good is that?”

Bootcamp workouts are efficient because you work your entire body — heart and muscles —by going from one exercise to another with minimal rest between.  The workouts involve calisthenics like pushups, jumping jacks, crunches and other body weight exercises...the difference lies in the intensity. Expect to do push-ups, sit-ups, sprints, squats, climb stairs, race up hills and run through parks and neighborhoods.  In bootcamp, your challenge is to take your body to its limit. You work, you sweat and, best of all, you burn calories like crazy.
